William Irvin Turner Jr.
William Irvin Turner Jr deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served as a HHC Medic with Bravo Company. William and three other Bravo Company soldiers were killed in action on July 8, 1968 during a combat operation.
William was from Bowden, North Carolina and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Devotional Gardens, Warsaw, New Jersey. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 52W, Line 2.
