Thomas Lloyd Smith
Thomas Lloyd Smith deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served with Bravo Company, 2nd Platoon. Thomas was killed in action on March 18, 1968 during an overnight battle with NVA/VC forces in southern Binh Duong Province.
Thomas was from Durham, California and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Glen Oaks Memorial Park, Chico, California. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 45E, Line 30.
