Theodore Andre Thompson Jr

Theodore Andre Thompson Jr deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He initially served with Bravo Company but was transferred to Charlie Company. LT Thompson was killed in action on September 7, 1968 during a combat operation near the village of X. Sa Nho (2). Due to the intensity of the extended firefight, his body was recovered on September 8, 1968.

LT Thompson was from Boston, Massachusetts and was twenty-five years of age. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 44W, Line 7.
