He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. Terry was killed in action on May 13, 1969 during the assault on Dong Ap Bia/Hamburger Hill. Terry was from Iron Mountain, Michigan and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Quinnsesec Cemetery, Dickenson County, Michigan.
