He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th. Terry was killed in action on May 11, 1969 on a combat operation during the battle of Dong Ap Bia/Hamburger Hill. Terry was from Rockford, Illinois and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Arlington Memorial Park. Rockford, ILL. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 25W, Line 50.
