He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Ronald was killed in action on June 5, 1970 when a booby-trap detonated during a combat operation. Ronald was from Atlanta, Georgia and was twenty-four years of age. He is buried at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Hogansville, Georgia.
