Ronald Lee Rondo

Ronald Lee Rondo deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served with Charlie Company. Ronald was killed in action on September 17, 1968 when his platoon’s ambush position came under attack during the NVA assault on FSB Pope.

Ronald was from Hemlock, Michigan and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 43W, Line 21.
