Ronald Dean Karau

Ronald Dean Karau arrived in Vietnam in September of 1970. He served with Echo Company, Recon Platoon, 3/187th. Ronald and another Echo Company soldier were killed in action on March 20, 1971 during a combat operation northwest of Khe Sanh Combat Base.

Ronald was from Lewisville, Minnesota and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at ST John's Lutheran Cemetery, Watonwan County, Minnesota. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 4W, Line 61.
