Ronald Devone Griffin

Ronald Devine Griffin arrived in Vietnam in March of 1968. He served with Echo Company, Recon Platoon, 3/187th. Ronald and five other Rakkasans were killed in action on April 21, 1968 when friendly artillery fire accidentally hit the battalion locations during a combat operation.

Ronald was from Charlotte, North Carolina and was eighteen years of age. He is buried at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, North Carolina. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 51E, Line 20.
