Roger James Carr
Roger James Carr arrived in Vietnam in January of 1970. He served as a HHC Medic, 3/187th. Roger was wounded in action on an unknown date when leaving a night defensive position during a combat operation. He was medevac'd from the field and admitted to a military hospital. Roger succumbed to his wounds on July 29, 1970.
Roger was from Fullerton, California and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, California. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 8W, Line 65.
