He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Robert took his own life on June 14, 1968 in Hau Nghia Province, shortly after the battalion moved operations to the Cu Chi-Trang Bang area. Robert was from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Presbyterian Church of Falling Springs, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 57W, Line 20. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten! Photo obtained from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund - Wall of Faces.
