He served with Delta Company, 3/187th. Robert lost his life on January 1, 1970 due to homicide. Robert was from Quitman, Georgia and was twenty-six years of age. He is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 15W, Line 116. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten!
