He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. Robert was killed in action on May 14, 1969 during the assault on Dong Ap Bia/Hamburger Hill. Robert was from Houston, Texas and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Forest Park, Westheimer Cemetery, Houston, Texas. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 24W, Line 2. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten!
