Richard Henry Mc Kinney

Richard Henry Mc Kinney arrived in Vietnam in April of 1968. He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Richard was wounded in action on an unknown date during a combat operation. He was admitted to a military hospital where he succumbed to his wounds on July 30, 1968.

Richard was from Poughkeepsie, New York and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, New York. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 50W, Line 36.
