Richard John Borovick

Richard John Borovick arrived in Vietnam in August of 1968. He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Richard lost his life on January 2, 1969 on the helipad on Fire Support Base Helen when he accidentally walked into a helicopter rotor blade.

Richard was from South Boston, Massachusetts and was twenty-three years of age. He is buried at New Cavalry Cemetery, Mattapan, Massachusetts. His name is etched on the Vietnam Memorial Wall, Panel 35W, Line 019.
