Ralph Joel Crutts
Ralph Joel Crutts arrived in Vietnam in January of 1969. He served with Charlie Company, 1st Platoon, 3/187th. Ralph was wounded in action on May 18, 1969 during the assault on Dong Ap Bia/Hamburger Hill and was evacuated from the field. He succumbed to his wounds later that same day.
Ralph was from Owosso, Michigan and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, Owosso, Michigan. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 24W, Line 38.
