Michael Elkinton

Michael Elkinton deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served with Echo Company. Michael was killed in action on July 18, 1968 during a combat operation in Binh Long Province.

Michael was from Calistoga, California and was eighteen years of age. He is buried at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, California. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 51W, Line 3.
