He served with Delta Company. Michael was killed in action on March 18, 1968 during an overnight battle with NVA/VC forces in southern Binh Duong Province. Michael was from Houston, Texas and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
