Juanito Maiquez Escano
Juanito Maiquez Escano arrived in Vietnam in October of 1969. He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. Juanito was wounded in action on an unknown date during a combat operation when a booby-trap detonated. He was evacuated from the field and admitted into a military hospital. On May 21, 1970, Juanito succumbed to his wounds.
Juanito was from Agana, Guam and his parents were from the Philippines. He was twenty-five years of age. Juanito's burial location is currently unknown - possibly Queson City, Philippines. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 10W, Line 74.
