Joseph Robert Nehl
Joseph Robert Nehl arrived in Vietnam in March of 1970. He served with Echo Company, 3/187th. Joseph was wounded in action on an unknown date during a combat operation when leaving a night defensive position. He was medevac'd from the field and admitted to a military hospital. Joseph succumbed to his wounds on July 27, 1970.
Joseph was from Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Hoyt Lakes Memorial cemetery, Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 8W, Line 60.
