Joseph Russle Clinch
Joseph Russle Clinch arrived in Vietnam in October of 1969. He served as a Platoon Leader with Bravo Company, 3/187th. Joseph was killed in action on May 30, 1970 when his night defensive position came under attack during a combat operation.
Joseph was from Chicago, Illinois and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at St Mary’s Cemetery, West Peoria, Illinois. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 10W, Line 120.
