John Edward Mc Carrell

John Edward McCarrell arrived in Vietnam in October of 1968. He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th. John was killed in action on May 11, 1969 on a combat operation during the battle of Dong Ap Bia/Hamburger Hill.

John was from Loudon, Tennessee and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Lenoir City, Tennessee. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 25W, Line 52.
