John Franklin Kelly
John Franklin Kelly arrived in Vietnam in July of 1968. He served as a HHC Medic assigned to Alpha Company, 3/187th. John was killed in action in the early morning hours of September 6, 1968 during a cordon operation of Ap Trang Dau.
John was from Houston, Texas and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Quanah Memorial Park, Quanah, Texas. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 45W, Line 53.
