John Paul Johnson
John Paul Johnson arrived in Vietnam in February of 1970. He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. John lost his life on September 20, 1970 when an Alpha Company position in the field was struck by lightning.
Jon was from Bellevue, Nebraska and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue, Nebraska. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 7W, Line 78.
