He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Jimmy was killed in action in the early morning hours of September 6, 1968 during a cordon operation of Ap Trang Dau. Jimmy was from Checotah, Oklahoma and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Checotah, Oklahoma. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 45W, Line 54 RIP soldier! Never forget. Never forgotten. Photo obtained from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund - Wall of Faces.
