Jesus Ernest Chavez Jr
Jesus Ernest Chavez, Jr arrived in Vietnam in December of 1967. He served with Delta Company, 3/187th. Jesus was killed in action on July 21, 1968 when a booby-trap detonated during a combat operation.
Jesus was from Pico Rivera, California and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 51W, Line 24.
