Jerome David Jorgenson
Jerome David Jorgenson arrived in Vietnam in October of 1968. He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th. Jerome was killed in action on May 15, 1969 during the assault on Dong Ap Bia/ Hamburger Hill when his position was accidently hit by supporting artillery fire.
Jerome was from Fairmont, Minnesota and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Fairview Memorial Park, Fairmont, Minnesota. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 24W, Line 17.
