He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th. Jayson was killed in action on August 17, 1969 during a combat operation. Jayson was from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Good Hope Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 19W, Line 57. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten!
