James Howard Anderson
James Howard Anderson deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served as a HHC Medic with Alpha Company. James was killed in action in the early morning hours of September 6, 1968 during the cordon operation of the village of Ap Trang Dau.
James was from Anaheim, California and was twenty-seven years old. He is buried at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, California. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 45W, Line 47.
