His records indicate he served with Bravo Company. Gus was killed in action in the early morning hours of September 6, 1968 during a cordon operation of Ap Trang Dau. Gus was from Blacklick, Ohio and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 45W, Line 53. RIP soldier!
