George Andrew Lamothe
George Andrew Lamothe arrived in Vietnam in November of 1968. He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. George was wounded in action on an unknown date during the assault on Dong Ap Bia/ Hamburger Hill, was evacuated from the field and admitted to a military hospital. George succumbed to his wounds on May 15, 1969.
George was from St Albans, Vermont and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Mount Calvary Cemetery, St Albans, Vermont. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 24W, Line 17.
