He served with Charlie Company, 2nd Platoon. Gary was killed in action during a combat operation near Song Be City. Gary was from Union, Missouri and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union, Missouri. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 43E, Line 4. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten!
