Floyd William Kotewa Jr
Floyd William Kotewa Jr arrived in Vietnam in September of 1970. He served with Delta Company, 3/187th. Floyd and another Delta Company soldier were killed in action on August 14, 1971 when their night defensive position came under attack and was accidentally hit by friendly air support.
Floyd was from Bay City, Michigan and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at ST Patrick Cemetery, Bay City, Michigan. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 3W, Line 131.
