Eugene Hingleton Jr
Eugene Hingleton Jr arrived in Vietnam in late December of 1967. He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Eugene was killed in action on October 8, 1968 when the convoy leaving FSB Patton II, heading to Cu Chi was ambushed and hit by RPG.
Eugene was from Columbia, South Carolina and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Lincoln Cemetery, Colombia, South Carolina. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 41W, Line 29.
