He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Edwin was killed in action in the early morning hours of September 6, 1968 during a cordon operation of Ap Trang Dau. Edwin was from Denver, Colorado and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
