He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. LT Dugger was killed in action due to sniper fire on December 31, 1968 during a combat operation. Douglas was from Detroit, Michigan and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Christian Memorial Gardens, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
