He served with Echo Company, Recon Platoon, 3/187th. Clint was killed in action on April 29, 1970 during a combat operation when he was mistaken for an enemy soldier. Clint was from Birmingham, Alabama and was twenty-two years of age. He is buried at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
