Clifford Kazumi Taira

Clifford Kazumi Taira arrived in Vietnam in April of 1969. He served with Delta Company, 3/187th. Clifford was killed in action on May 11, 1969 when his unit's position came under attack and he was hit by friendly gunship fire.

Clifford was from Honolulu, Hawaii and was twenty years of age. He is buried at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Hawaii. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 25W, Line 56
