Carl Leonard Carlson
Carl Leonard Carlson arrived in Vietnam in February of 1968. He served with Charlie Company, 3/187th. Carl was killed in action on April 12, 1968 when he was hit by fragments from a mine just north of Phuoc Vinh Basecamp.
Carl was from Swatara, Minnesota and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Cass County, Minnesota. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 94E, Line 29.
