Bobby Lee Wheeler
Bobby Lee Wheeler arrived in Vietnam in March of 1968. He served with Alpha Company. Bobby was killed in action on May 28, 1968 when his position on Fire Support Base #29, west of Dak To in the Central Highlands, was hit by NVA mortars.
Bobby was from Hamlin, West Virginia and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Harvey’s Creek Cemetery, Lincoln County, West Virginia. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 63W, Line 1.
