Arnold Paul Sarna
Arnold Paul Sarna deployed with the 3/187th in December 1968 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served with Echo Company, Recon Platoon. Arnold was killed in action on March 13, 1968 when the Echo Company area on Phuoc Vinh Basecamp came under enemy mortar attack.
Arnold was from Livonia. Michigan and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at ST Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Heights, Michigan. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 44E, Line 40.
