Anthony Irvin Lee

Anthony Irvin Lee deployed with the 3/187th in December of 1967 during Operation Eagle Thrust. He served with Alpha Company. Anthony and one other Alpha Company soldier were killed by friendly claymore mine on July 9, 1968 when coming in from a night defensive position.

Anthony was from Rossville, Georgia and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Peavine Cemetery, Rock Springs, Georgia. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 52W, Line 6.
