Andrew Starrett Pierce
Andrew Starrett Pierce Jr arrived in Vietnam in July of 1970. He served with Alpha Company, 3/187th. Andrew was killed in action on November 7, 1970, during a combat operation when his night defensive position came under a rocket attack.
Andrew was from Alderson, West Virginia and was twenty-one years of age. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 6W, Line 44.
