He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th. Alex was killed during a combat operation when mistaken for an enemy combatant. Alex was from Gardena, California and was twenty years of age. He is buried at Carver Memorial Cemetery, Shreveport, Louisiana. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 16W, Line 78. RIP soldier! Never forget! Never forgotten!
