Charles Glenn Russell

Charles Glenn Russell arrived in Vietnam in March of 1968. He served with Bravo Company, 3/187th, becoming battalion RTO for CPT Robert Friedrich in late summer of 1968. Glenn was killed in action on September 7, 1968 during a combat operation near the village of X. Sa Nho (2).

Glenn was from Louisville, Kentucky and was nineteen years of age. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky. His name is etched on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Panel 45W, Line 64.

RIP soldier!
